The Family Model Program is a type of residential service selected by the person supported, where he or she lives in a home of a caregiver who is not a family member in an "Adult Foster Care" arrangement. GCS provides 24 hour emergency responses to every caregiver. This is a wonderful residential option for people who have been living at home with their family and need more care, or when family is no longer able to care for them due to illness or work scheduling conflicts.
