DBVI is an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia that is dedicated to its mission of providing services and resources which empower Virginians who are blind, vision impaired or deafblind to achieve their desired levels of employment, education, and personal independence

Anyone can make a referral including the person, their eye doctor, family member, friend, etc.

Anyone living in the Commonwealth of VA that meets our vision guidelines. Our services are free but the exchange of equipment is based on financial guidelines established by the Commonwealth of VA. The agency also serves Bland Co. and the City of Galax in addition to the other counties listed.
