Provides transportation to people of all ages on a demand response basis with a 24-hour notice required. We are able to provide service to those with canes, walkers, wheelchairs, and to health and human services agencies wishing to contract with Mountain Empire Transit.
How to get started:
Call 276-523-7433 and speak with an intake worker who has to complete an over the phone profile. This process usually takes about 5 minutes to complete. They will then inform the patient of all the scheduling information.
