Crisis assistance is intended to meet a household's emergency heating needs when no other resource is available. The component helps households in heating emergency situations with promary heat security deposits, utility heating bills, repair/replacement of heating equipment, primary heating fuel and emergency shelter.

Applications can be completed online at commonhelp.gov or at your local DSS.

Must have a heating emergency, income requirements. Accepts applications November 1- March 15th
