Cooling assistance provides purchase or repair of cooling equipment and or payment for electricity to opperate cooling equipment.

Applications are accepted online at commonhelp.virginia.gov/access/ or by visiting the local DSS from June 15 to August 15

Household must conatin at least one vulnerable individual who is age 60 or older, or under age 6.
