The Home Fire Campaign helps save lives by installing free smoke alarms in homes that don't have them, and by educating people about fire safety. - no information on hearing impaired devices.
How to get started:
The process can take a month or so. Once you have called or emailed your request for smoke detector installation expect the Red Cross to set up a time to come to your home to install battery operated smoke detectors.

Anyone residing in the state of Virginia and in need of smoke detectors and/or smoke detector batteries. Can call, leave a voicemail, or email request for free smoke detector installation.
