BLACKBERRY WINTER IS A 501 (C) (3) NONPROFIT COMPOSED OF KIND-HEARTED, HARD-WORKING, AND GENEROUS VOLUNTEERS. THE VOLUNTEERS HELP IN DIFFERENT WAYS…SOME ORGANIZE DONATIONS, SOME DONATE MONEY, SOME DONATE HOUSEHOLD ITEMS AND FURNITURE…SOME HELP US THROUGH WORD OF MOUTH, SOME HELP US MEET FAMILIES, AND OTHERS FUNDRAISE. ALL OF THESE ACTS OF LOVE COME TOGETHER TO CREATE BLACKBERRY WINTER.

WE DO NOT HELP WITH ONE OR TWO NEEDS. ONLY WHEN PEOPLE ARE STARTING OVER WITH NOTHING. It is common for families to need a couch, table, ext. we help in uncommon situations. when people have nothing. Unfortunately, you cannot request help for yourself. A person, one who is not in need, must verify your need, fill out the questionnaire, communicate with Blackberry Winter through the process, and most importantly, meet us with at least 2 people that can lift heavy furniture and have the needed vehicles to transport the furniture. This person filling out the form must be present when we meet. We meet twice a month to disperse furniture. Those dates are non-negotiable. The upcoming dates will be provided once the application is received requesting help.
