Housing Choice Voucher Program

Eligible applicants are issued vouchers allowing them to search for housing owned by private landlords. If the landlord is willing to lease to the family and enter into a contract with Bristol Housing, then Bristol Housing will pay a portion of the monthly rent to the landlord based on current federal regulations. Program participants will pay to the landlord between 30% to 40% of their annual gross income less applicable deductions for their portion of the rent. Your name will be placed on the waiting list based on the date and time of application. Once your application nears the top of the waiting list, you will be contacted by a staff member.
