The Virginia Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services provides and advocates for resources and services to improve the employment, quality of life, security, and independence of older Virginians, Virginians with disabilities, and their families.

The DARS Community Based Services Division administers several programs that support individuals with significant disabilities to maximize their independence, employment, and full inclusion into society.

Aging services help Virginians find the information and services they need to lead healthy and independent lives as they grow older. Employment Services help people with disabilities get ready for, find, and keep a job.
