The regional office is located at Virginia Highlands Community College in Abingdon, Virginia. We provide leadership and support for adult education and literacy services with an emphasis on the development and expansion of quality, family literacy and workplace education programs, including preparation and instruction for taking the GED Test, the National External Diploma Program, and work ready certifications. In addition, we offer assistance to prepare for the Virginia Placement Test. All classes and tests are FREE of charge.
